Simple indeed and that's what I like about it. They look like little soldiers standing at attention. This suits my taste in photography.

The contrast between the lightness of the heads of the wild Bistwort and the surrounding greenery helps to make the individual plants stand out in the image. Reminds me of the sunlight highlighting the hoar frost on the tree branches locally this morning.

You pretty much said it all yourself Vic, except I'll add that your (somewhat) panoramic presentation certainly accents the beautiful natural composition and contrasts. Well seen and taken!

Your title here is just perfect.. my thoughts exactly when I looked at the shot Nicely positioned, great detail and contrast with good colour saturation. Well seen and captured.
