Taken inside a large free flight aviary. Mynahs are an intelligent bird, and this one watched me closely as I slowly walked closer, really taking an interest in what I was doing.

Lovely close shot of this bird who is clearly very interested in you. I love the intelligent looking tilt of his head and the angle of the shot. I think maybe its a tad low on focus and possibly a little on contrast too, but still a very nicely composed image

These guys can be taught to "speak" really well as well, as you say a very intelligent bird and this one shows a great attentive pose. Not sure how much you cropped in on him, but he looks a little soft, particularly in the critical eye area, though it can't be easy shooting a dark bird against the light background!
