Good morning
A delightful shot of this little fellow, once again very good eye contact but for me the focus is just lacking slightly, indeed a closer and less central crop might have enhanced this view but a very nice compositon non the less.
kind regards Helen

I love these little characters, and this is a nice illustration of an otter going about his business. I wonder if it would have been better to shoot in Portrait format rather then landscape? Also, as Helen has already mentioned, the critical eye area is a little soft, with the main area of focus behind. Perhaps the camera set to AF Servo and the focus point held on the eyes might have helped... not sure what camera you use but I used to have this problem a lot with an "old" Nikon D70, where the AF seemed to stop just as the shutter was pressed and I would always get the point of focus just behind where I wanted it...

Your composition in which the FG catches the sunlight, make it indeed seem like the otter is emrging from his own world into yours for just a sec.
And he sure is watching what you are doing - lovely.
