Above the horizontal line of the branch the background and the dove work well to create a strong contrast (sort of a 3D feel)... not so much below the branch. I like the detailing to be found in the form of the dove, the sense of texturing (both from the plumage of the bird and the snow) and just the nature of the pose which your title captures perfectly.

I love the look and feel of this dove as he toughs it out in the New England Winter. Has the look of one of those snow globes with the subtle flakes falling all around him. SUPER DOOPER ...really really excellent photography here.

Very fitting title! And very nice colors set against the snow and light b/g. The pose and composition with the faint sense of snowfall makes for an artistically lovely shot. Slight noise in the b/g, but otherwise just splendid.

H/she seems to be posing for you ... an EXCELLENT capture. The only thing I would add is a catchlight in an attempt to add a little life/spark to the eye.
