Lots to like on this lighthouse. I especially like the time of day you chose to take this capture. the low angle of the sun casts a golden hue on the lighthouse and intensifies the vintage details and look of this icon.

Gorgeous light shows off this beautiful lighthouse and its spectacular setting. I would consider a crop to just below the rocks next to the cliff and to just above the tree line. That would preserve the crucial elements of the sky, reduce the empty water and make the cliff and lighthouse itself larger in the frame. Very nicely done.

I like the composition 'as is' also, along with the perspective. And I'm especially attracted to the sepia-like color theme, which indeed gives it a vintage and painterly feel.

Hi Jan.
This is such a beautiful framing of the lighthouse. The choice of tall frame is very good enhancing the height of the cliff from a fine pov. Another excellent Kodachrome result and the warm color is very attractive. Superb shot and very well done indeed.

Jusni

I like the sense of the manmade lighthouse fighting the elements along with the wild and rugged promontory.

Nice comp, the warm tones suit this well.
You have a few more lighthouse shots than I do ;-)
Well done!
