The Sumatran tiger (Panthera tigris sumatrae) is the smallest of the remaining five tiger subspecies. It has lived exclusively, for over a million years, in the once extensive moist tropical jungles of the island of Sumatra, Indonesia.
I shot this in 2005 with a Canon 20D/100-400mm lens combo, through a fine mesh enclosure.

Indeed one of the most beautiful tygers there are, Good close of its head.
