Those water droplets add to the texturing of the rose... one can almost imagine being able to touch the soft wet petals of the rose. The transition from the more blurred area at the top of the picture through to the sharper clarity in the bottom creates a cascading sensation for me.

Hi Helen,
This is great, literally jumps off the screen with the way you manipulated the DOF.
I really also like how the same image is, at once, soft and sharp at the same time.
Nicely done, great job.
Thanks,
Wilt

Helen, Hi:
A very beautiful rose with special raindrops for the theme. Very nicely done and I look forward to images of your new rose this summer.
Have a great upcoming week, my friend.

The water drops add a lot of texture and interest to these roses. Nicely captured and presented. Joni

Sandy's roses are suffering with a burst of heat Helen. This is lovely and the droplets stand out proudly. Good focus on the leading bloom,

Helen, a lovely show of rain drops on a beautiful rose. They look like little gem stones.

Pefect colours and dof! - love the contrast between the f/g and b/g rose. And the rain drops are eloquently detailed and perfect for the theme. Beautiful work Helen!

When I think of the UK, this is the vision I have in my mind. You definitely have more than your fair share of beautiful roses where you live and you captured this so magically. Love those sparkling water droplets - they make this one pop.
