What a striking presentation of color! Really captures the sense of Spring for me but unfortunately we will also have to tolerate a number of weeks of snow and cold before we reach scenes such as this. These colors really stand out against the black background page color.

Beautiful shot Joni! I like the way you've taken a POV that has the tulips facing away from the camera - it gives the sense of the flowers 'seeking the Sun', and enhances their colour. I see a some out of focus softness in the foreground and that indicates that you may not have 'stopped down' quite enough to ensure as good a depth of field as you could have achieved. I suggest that stopping down to f11 might have produced a bit sharper image with better DOF.

Gorgeous colors, and a most welcomed sight during the dead of winter. Hope your course is going well.

Hi Joni,
Wow, I look out the window here and see a blizzard and on my computer screen I see this explosion of color, very nice.
I do like your POV, and tight crop and overall composition.
Good work, good luck with the course.

OO Joni this is wonderful just what i needed on such a cold miserable day as we have here today too. You filled the whole frame with superb colour and the detail is spot on. A place I would love to visit myself sometime I have heard a lot about it.
Thank you for posting
kind regards Helen

Joni, this is magnificent. Love how you filled the frame, edge to edge, with vibrant, exploding color and maintained tack sharp edges along with it.
