In all of the cold here in the Northeast of the U.S. I keep looking back at interesting, and warm, spring or summer photos in the archive.
This is one I've liked for some time and decided to share.
Exif data somehow trashed so here goes:
1/640, f/8.0, ISO 400, 300mm.
Long lens adds to the softening of the backround and just past midday sun lit the subject well.

Beautiful portrait in such a fine tone. She is gorgeous and you have silenced the background really well.

The contrast between the young lady and the background greenery serves to make her stand out strongly in the image. One wishes that the quality of the light had been sufficient to create catchlights in her eyes to help bring the viewer to her face.

I really like this - I never take pictures of people and I really should try. Good DOF to seperate the subject from he background and nice lighting too.
cheers

Wilt, Hi

Marvelous warm portrait. Just the warmth need in our part of the world just now.

Well Done

Hi Larry,
Wow, it's blizzard time here, so your words are dead on. Smile
Thanks,

Lovely natural light and engaging pose her. The blurred BG acts as a fine backdrop. Nicely done. Joni

Portraits are not something i have been brave enough to try yes so im not that great at commenting on them. Having said that I think I know a good shot when I see one and this I really do like, nice off centre positioning, good sharp detail and eye contact with a nice warm smile.. yes for me this is a winner well done.

Thank you for posting
kind regards Helen

Hello Wilt.
Yes the amount of comment here on PC, is rather poor.
So indeed the best way to 'collect'some, is to show us some nice looking ladies, haha
I'm always in for that.! She looks lovely and you sure captured her in a fine way.
