The 2007 sled dog races involved more dogs on each team (more change for action) and those dog sled races were going north to south along the Red River and allowed for a better view of both dogs and driver. This picture may be a little soft but on that particular day the air temperature was -37C with a windchill of -48C and it was a chore just to hold the camera never mind having everything in focus. In fact it became so cold later in the day that the second part of the race had to be canceled with the windchill dropping below -50C. They`re Off, it couldn`t be better! The lead dog is in focus and yes everything behind starts going softer but surely this adds to the movement. great pic.
