I like to subtle reflections and the horizontal balance of this. Sad to hear progress has hit there but at least there's this memory.
Good work with elevating the image out of the fog.
Thanks,
Wilt

Nothing stays the same - that's why we must take pictures today. I'm glad you did.

Wonderful feel to this image. The foggy nature of the setting, the contrast between the pilings, boats and the muted nature of the foggy background, and the reflective quality of the water all work to create a visually appealing image. Ah, the price of progress...

Well the Tamar Yacht club and city council obviously have much to learn about compositional awareness! A shame but good that you have this as a reminder. A beautiful picture with the water and the sky blending as one.

Love this single line composition of boats seemingly 'floating in space.' Well done David!

What a shame that the Council is so unaware of the aesthetic qualities those moorings provided. I love the floating in space feel of this shot. Another of your foggy masterpieces. Joni

David, Hi:
Another signature composition. Beautifully done with marvelous notes as always. I think a book of your work like this would sell very well.
I hope your week is going very well.

Hiya David
Such a shame this scene has changed for you but what a good thing that you captured shots like this before they removed the moorings. Once again an image that oozes peace and tranquility a deligthful shot my friend.
Thank you for posting
kind regards Helen
