This picture brings more detailing to the area I had mentioned in my previous comments. I particularly like the nature of the birds serving as a natural framing for part of the image and the solitary bird in the immediate foreground highlighted by the sunlight, the nature of the portion of the fishing boat that one can see, and just the mood that is evoked by the setting (a feeling of the completion of work at the end of the day). Did you try a cropping of just the front half of the boat including the arc of gulls with the solitary one in the foreground... looks like another image within the original full size image?

This is less chaotic than the previous boat/bird image, with a stronger composition. I really like the half circle of seagulls over the boat, and the f/g flying gull (which stands out so nicely against the darker b/g.) I'd consider cropping a little from the the top or cloning out those birds partly out of the frame. Very nice shot!

I agree with Pat Re cropping the part birds at the top but the general exposure in difficult circumstances is about as good as one could hope for and the detail that can be seen in the shadows would look false if any lighter. The warm of the sunlight on the birds is rather nice especially the highlighted seagull.

I also agree on the crop at the top. The colors are brilliant and the crest of seagulls add the interest of the image.
