A bird of Texas and northeastern Mexico, the Black-crested Titmouse is very similar to the Tufted Titmouse, and the two species are very similar in appearance, voice, and habits.

I like how you captured the Black Crested Titmouse as if it were posing on the branch for its portrait, the clarity of detailing, the catchlight in the bird's eye, and the contrast between that of the bird and the muted background which serves to make the Titmouse stand out strongly in the image.

This is a stuning shot - yes very cute. The DOF makes the bird really pop from the background with super detail.
Very nice

I love the crested head and quizzical expression and what a beautiful little bird with its crisp markings of subtle colour. Excellent detail and exposure Hopward.
