My notes which accompanied ‘Windeward Bound I’ were obviously misleading, the photo was in fact taken after I got off the bus.

I did add a comment to that photo regarding the misleading notes and the fact that I would attempt to explain how my camera functions in fog/low light conditions.

If I am close enough to the subject I have no problems except when the fog is a little thicker. In cases like that the camera will focus on the nearest solid colour or object, in the case of ‘Windeward Bound I’ this was the reflection of the mast. In the case of ‘Footloose’ the camera focused on the reeds in the foreground.

This addition to my gallery comes in two parts, the original image and the processed version, no matter the depth of the fog I can usually manage to coax some colour and definition into the processed image.

Hi David

I have given this image a rating for the specific reason you uploaded, to show how much differnce PP work can make.

Yes David, that works great to be able to see what you can come up with.
And indeed, the notes were a bit misleading - now I am going to compare this to the one you worked on - I already saw a huge difference,
