The contrast between the spire and the blue sky works to bring a 3D feel to the composition.

Simple and effective Julie, a good submission for the theme. Some noise evident in teh sky but not unbearable,

Please excuse my ignorance everybody but I`ve been told on a few occations to not put a subject smack in the middle of frame. Now I, like everyone else thinks this is a great pic. So what makes this pic. ok with the subject in the middle of the frame and others are a taboo? Please understand I`m asking so that I can improve with my photography and I am not trying to score points.....Charlie. PS. Hope you understand what I`m trying to say Julie.
