Second submission of this Dragon fruit for my exploration of textures and colour.
The fruit had strange Texture, look, colour and waxy feel ...just had to become a photo subject.
When i cut it open to explore the inside it is white with black seeds...even better.

Taken in natural light, black cloth background, tripod and cable release.

Ps work
slight crop,
levels
slight saturation increase

Ps. looked a lot better than it tasted...well had no taste at all...much better as a photo subject.

Pps, You eat the white part with the black seeds, I used a spoon and although it was alright I probably wont repeat the exercise.

I just cannot get over the coloring of this fruit and the contrast between the exterior nature of the dragon fruit and the interior portion (I just cannot shake the sense that this is man made creation used to showcase a chocolate chip composition... even though it is a real fruit).

This is a better composition - not surprising since you had twice as many subjects to work with.
