This was so surreal---so many skeleton fish , dried on a beach of salt----it isn't the salt that kills them, apparently it had been too warm---the Salton Sea is an otherwordly place---unnatractive to many but a very interesting place for photographs----lynne

Not an everyday picture, Lynne.
But togheter with your note, very interesting.
When I scrol down two staps, imo I would have cropped a part of the bottom, to make it a more square picture.
Cheers from Jan

The Salton Sea is a very interesting location for photograph especially in a b&w format... there is just something timeless about the location and from a recent documentary on the Discovery Channel it would seem as if the place has gone from being a resort to being more of a ghost town. I didn't realize that there was any fish left in the Salton Sea.

Your picture had me searching Wiki to remind me of why this place is special. The fish skeleton takes on a dinosaur-ish look here. Although a crop might be worthwhile - I would make it from the top close to the fish's dorsal fin.
Vic.
