This photo was taken on my last trip across the corner of our lake last week.It is about 3 miles. So in saying this 3 mile X 5280 ft per mile = 15840 feet
at 2 feet per step = 7290 steps and this is just across the lake to total trip was about 4 miles (on foot)good excerise

Great exercise I say. Nice comp and fine exposure. Do I see fish shanties in the distant? Well done.

There is a rather lonely feel evoked by the single strand of foot steps leading from the foreground to the distant shoreline.

I'm glad someone put a different interpretation on the theme of steps. I think you short-changed yourself with the distance. By the look of that wandering track you can add at least another mile!
Good one Ron.

The math is too complicated for me, but I like the contrast of the snow and light clouds to the band of dark blue at the horizon. And the steps take us on a seemingly endless journey. Very nice!
