These are just inside the city walls. As you can see, the walls which completely encircle the city may be walked giving superb views of the beautiful medieval achitecture. The walls also provide shade for the canny locals. I especially like the inclined set of steps on the back wall. Good work, very interesting photo. I really find the perspective you adopted enhances the viewpoint (we get a view over the roof tops combined with a view of the streets of the Dubrovnik). But let me add, while the architectural details are fascinating, I also like the inclusion of all the people - not only for scale, but as relatively 'young' living organisms in contrast to all that ancient, immutable stone work.
