The first important bycicle-race for professionals : "Omloop Het Nieuwsblad" or also called "Gent-Gent". Depart in the city of Gent, riding throught the "Flemish Ardens" with many feared cobble-stoned hills. Here they are riding on the "Old Kruisberg" at Ronse.
I'm not sure who the racer in front is. Maybe it is Robby Traksel, who won the next day another race (Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne) ? Maybe our Dutch photographers know the answer ?
