Striking image of the Greenfinch with the contrast between that of the little bird and the muted nature of the background serving to make the bird stand out strongly in the image. The clarity of detailing, the mentioned contrast and the catchlight in the eye all work hand in hand to present the viewer with a beautiful image of this particular bird.
