I have to confess.. I haven't done much photography lately - it's just that time of the year here in MI - very cloudy and cold. In looking at what I did a few weeks back, this caught my eye. At the time I guess it was just another shot I was playing with - didn't even save the original. And so sorry, can't tell you any settings. But thought I'd share it anyway.

I love it!!! The frosty, leafless twigs providing silhouettes against the late "hangers-on" leaves which provide a perfect backdrop to pop this very well done capture. But what stands out prominently is the fantastic DOF....the tack sharp edges go clear through to China!!!

Well titled with the sense of a wall hanging created by the patterning of the tree branches and the colors (especially striking with a black background).

Perfect title for the interesting image. The complicated play of lines and colors is intriging and beautiful.

Hi Pat,
The mix of color, texture and snow stark white is really eyecatching here as is the mix of shapes and lines.
Nicely captured and composed.

Pat, this is beautiful. I keep coming back to look at it. Well seen, captured and titled. Of course, if Sarah Palin can see Russia and Diane can see China, I need to have my eyes checked.

The Autumn coloured leaves makes it very nice contrasting.

Lovely work Pat, it had me looking to see exactly where the tree trunks were. Nothing remotely like that here unless I hire a 4 wheel drive and head into teh snow country,
