Great macro capture of the toad's eye with a strong sense of texturing. Great sense of the eye enhanced with a slight catchlight and the red rim around the eye. I find that a cropped version (both left and right edges) showing more of the eye and less of the toad's skin works equally well for me.

Intense details in this magnificent macro. The saturation and shadows and light all work together perfectly presenting a superb DOF. This would look good in an eye doctor's waiting room!

Great close up,very sharp, fantastic colour in the eye, really stands out. I to might have cropped it a bit both sides to focus a little more on the eye. THanks
best wishes

If you'd said this was a croc's eye I'd have believed you. Excellent close-up capture.
