A cold feel to the setting... looks like the ice is breaking up during the day and refreezing overnight. Even the nature of the sun along with the mist rising in the distance enhances the cold feel of the setting for me.

Hello Julie.
Very well captured, would have like to read the settings.
A bit smaller aperture had maybe the sun oe made smaller.
Cheers from Jan

Julie, Hi:

Very well done. Marvelous detail and clarity with the winter slowly giving way to spring. Wonderful - spring is coming.

Well composed and impressively presented.
Thanks
Larry

Cold but signs of melting point to spring on the way. Well done, as always.

A great shot Julie, but the thumbnail seems to be 'darker' or have a little more contrast than the large image. And I think I like it better that way. Super composition and sunburst.

A very nice composition Julie. As Pat says, it does benefit from a slight S curve to the contrast and some additional sharpening really makes the ice glints and sunburst show.

That mist in the background really sets the cold mood!
