The Nuthatch dropped his nut Smile It amazes me just how fast they can move when they need to, in a split second he is already travelling faster than the nut. Did he manage to catch it?....Nope, it hit the ground before he got hold of it Smile
I't's a shame i didn't have a faster shutter speed to freeze the action a bit more but i quite like the result.

I like the sense of speed that is created between the falling nut and the nuthatch trying to capture the dropped nut. The green background helps to enhance the sense of speed in the bird dropping in an attempt to catch that nut.

The blurring gives a nice sense of speed. Still fast reflexes on your part Vic. Brought a smile.
