Unique perspective of this "lookout" bird. I love the magical saturation - especially that gorgeous background sky that pops him beautifully. But that fabulous "dead on" focus is what stands out most on this. WONDERFUL PHOTOGRAPHY.

Once again the contrast between that of the bird and the background sky works to bring a 3D feel to the picture with the clarity of detailing and "the sentinel" pose of the bird (by the way what is this bird... egret perhaps?). The pose in the tree throws me off.

I cannot understand why you didn't post this one before Lynne. It's a terrific picture. Exposure, colour, detail and composition are perfect.

Wow this is so sharp - I love the composition of this shot. The blue of the sky makes the bird stand out beautifully.
