I took this picture at the World of Wheels in Winnipeg in 2009. I was trying to get people into the same photograph with the vintage cars and I wasn't succeeding too well... people think they are stepping into my range while I was trying to get them into my range. Finally I got this photograph of the gentleman bending over for a closer view of 1932 Ford... captured the sense of the exhibition for me. Hopefully I'll have
better fortunate in a couple of weeks when the World of Wheels returns to Winnipeg.

In CS3 I used the shadow/highlight function (50,5,20)and levels (white auto).

I love the pose you captured the man in. His body English says it all about men and boy's fascination with old cars. Exposure and saturation showcase this capture perfectly.

To me he's really into looking at something interesting. Speaks volume here. Awesome.

Wow, he is really intent on visually exploring every inch of the car. Like the image which provides a feel of the exhibition. Only nit would be to see a little more space of the top so that the car doesn't seem cut off. But that is minor.

Hello Jan.
His body language says it all.
Perfectly captured and good pp work on it too.
The crop ? on top is a bit tight, and when you clean out the persons head in the window of the car and whe doing that take out the legggs of the other one.
Think you will have a masterpiece when doing that all.
Cheers from jan

Jan, Hi:

A wonderfully saturated image - well compose with explosive color and interest from the gentleman inspecting the '32 Ford.

Nicely Done.

If you can't keep people out you have to make the best of it and include them in an interesting way and in this case the figure helps block some background movement. A bit tight at the top though.

What a "clean" machine! Great closeup view of these "hot" wheels Smile
I like the human interest here also..
Well done.
