An old buggy, minus horse, sits in the front yard of a beautifully restored home.
Shot originally in color and converted to BW, and a bit of "old photo" texture and a bit of a crop in photoshop, in order to carry the feeling better than the full color image.
Some work with Dynamic Photo HDR to improve tonal range and detail as well as CS4 for resizing and the aforementioned "aging".
Shot in RAW, converted to jpeg and bordered.

This was obviously a very high contrast image even after the HDR so the sepia layer works to bring highlights back to a manageable state. I agree that B+W mostly works better for these historic subjects. Good capture and processing.

The work that you have done on the original photograph helps to bring a vintage feel to the composition.

Your post processing puts a wonderful vintage flavor on this old "motorized wagon". Nicely done.

The sepia and your post processing work well. I like all that there is for the eye to explore and find, including the woman on the porch.

Perfect work on it, Wilt.
Sure a lot of work, and you did well to reach this result.
Complements.

I agree with all of the above, but one thing is distracting me - the background. For me it competes too much with the buggy. Otherwise, I really like that vintage look you've given the image. Pat
