This is lovely, a delight.I like the colours and the subject. It has an attractive Japanese art feel to it.

Great colours and patterns on this . I love your little bird stopped in flight. Maybe just a tad oe'd but that could be the effect you wanted to create the artistic impression here. The bird in the centre works for me on this one.

Hiya Jim
Absolutly beautiful! lovely stop action on the delightful little bird, very nicely composed too. On close look there is a tad of graining maybe one or two white issues on some of the flowers... but the overall composition is very nice and I can picture this image as a Japanese silk print
kind regards Helen

Hi Jim,
Nice stop action shot, I like the composition and colours though there seems to be some noise in the background, maybe a run trough Neat Image would clear this up.
Well done

Thanks, Andy. I have heard of NeatImage and I have quite a few pictures it would be useful in. Thank you for the tip.

Hello Jim,
I'm gradualy working my way through the images in the gallery having only just joined and this one leaped out as having a very Japanese feel to it, then i read Helens and Bev's comments!!! Really lovely colours and great stop action, a fine image!! I would have been tempted to clone out the diagonal grey element top left of the background, but that's just me being overly fussy
Regards
Vic

Great catch and not an easy task. Catching the hummingbird in with the lovely flower is perfect. I find the left side which the white rod looking object comes into the picture distracting. To me it would benefit from cropping this out to about the area where the leaves start. Gorgeous image either way.
