Gorgeous flowers they are.
Good coloured image of it, but the background is a bit distracting, better to blur it more or use something else behind it.
Best wishes, Jan

The lighting on this is just stunning, and so are the colors and details. Great dynamic range and beautiful presentation. Well done!

Striking image of the multi-hued iris with the interplay of shadow and light adding to the visual appeal of your floral presentation. Your image of the iris is in need of a white bordering of some nature to create a separation between your picture and the black background page color (the little picture with the blue bordering on the right of the larger image shows the effect of border on the picture).

Love the light backlighting and streaming through the upper petals but your exposure on the petals hanging below showcase the velvet texture of this beautiful iris.

A fine sharp image with vibrant colours. I honestly can't see a thing wrong with the background. It is as soft, neutral and featureless as could be!

Beautifully done, Anne. I love the lighting which intensifies the colors. Agree with Vic on the background.

You have captured the delicate petals, colour and lighting very well in this shot Anne. Very sharp where it matters but even though the background is out of focus I still find it a tad distracting, it should be possible to darken it a little if you felt inclined. But still a great shot.
Best wishes

I agree totally with Vic regarding the background Anne, superb use of light and the colours are vivid with fine textures in the petals, tack sharp too
