Hello Wilt.
Good action shot of this Cricket game.
The mans face shows its excitement, the mans backsite is also on stretch, haha
Cheers, from Jan

As an Englishman I should love the game but like many of my countrymen and women, I find it extremely boring and more important for the statistics and the eccentricities of the game than for the game itself. In Asian, Australasian and Caribbean countries it ranks above soccer as the number one sport.
Long lens and narrow DoF is definitely the way to go for this game to pick out 1, 2 or 3 players in "action" (yawn).

Difficult sport for me to understand and to watch... very much like baseball which is equally difficult for me to understand and to watch but I do like individual shots taken from a match which shows the action on a more individual level.
Won't you feel that a crop to the batsman would heighten the action and eliminate the emptiness on the left side of the present picture?

Hi Jan,
I actually left the space to the picture left so that he'd have some place t run. :o) As Vic pointed out, I didn't want to artificially contain the "action".
Thanks,
Wilt

Not that much to understand is there? Hit the ball and run! But as Vic says I find it very boring too!
Love the clarity of the batsman.
cheers Paula
