I was just walking along Good Street on a sunny Sunday morning when I happened upon this cat looking out the window and warily watching me as I walked by. I had time for just one photograph and then cat disappeared into the interior darkness. I really liked the quality of the eyes of the cat and they sort of transfixed me as I looked at the image on my computer screen. In CS2 I made use of the shadow/highlight function (40,15).

This is a perfectly composed image----the window makes a picture in itself but having the cat just lazing out of it makes it perfect----you have captured great detail everywhere and yes, I find that having the shadows/highlight tool is a good thing, if not overused----lovely--have a good week---Lynne

Hi Jan - this is a great composition. I like the old window and the cat looks like he saying "and what are you looking at?"
Well seen - very nice indeed.

This is perfectly composed...good eye! The old window greatly contributes to this tack sharp the image, as does the frame. The cats eyes are mesmerizing. Beautifully captured!

I like the naturalness and informality of this. It does in fact portray the scene you described of how you came to take it.

Cool kitty, like the way it's "framed". Also like the direct eye contact and paws included pose..
Still trying to figure out what it says along the bottom Wink
