I really like the quality of your orchid composition. The colors of the orchid, the sense of texturing that comes through from the various elements that make up the overall picture, and the quality of the lighting.
All of the above work hand in hand, for me, to bring a strong painterly quality to the picture.

Indeed, its always lovely to picture flowers in a greenhouse, especially when there are no much other people.
This is a beautiful result, well done.
I plan for the comming week ea visit to the famous Keukenhof near Amsterdam. Hopefully not too crouwdy too.

Wish I could have been there - superb details and perfect DOF. The saturation is "Prom Night Perfect" too. Hope to catch that place on our way out of California.
