These anemones graced the very old Victorian workshop as part of the Cornwall Lost Garden of Heligan, a 1000 acre garden site that has been restored. Today the gardens are very popular and visited by many.

Anemones are so lovely! I like the natural light here and the composition is interesting too.

Hello Joni.
Lovely looking picture with the colours of the anomones as view point.
The old stuf around makes it interesting to look at.
Cheers from Jan

One can imagine someone wanting to brighten up the rather drab colors of the workshop and what better than some flowers and what to put them in but a glass jar that in another life might have been used as a home for screws or nails.

The vivid colors of the anemones stand out strongly in the image with the available angled light coming through the window working to enhance their presence in the setting.

I love how this fits together, all the textures play against one another. So pretty.

Hi Joni,
I've never seen this flower before, they are pretty and this is a nice capture. The addition of the various shapes and textures and muted tones allow the flowers to stand out.
Thanks,
Wilt

A very pleasing pic. Joni. I am only a beginner but I`m getting more adventurous in my comments on others pics. If the flowers were absent I`d say a very grey pic. Various greys and rust thrown in. But throw in the flowers and it becomes a different "animal". The flowers pick it up and sort of makes the eye wander to see what else is there. Well done Joni.....Charlie.

A 1000 acre garden is one big garden Joni!. Lovely almost muted colour here and the flowers stand out proudly on the stonework,
David
