The detailing of the tulips has an added textural component which adds to the visual appeal of the image.
Not so sure about the white background... does help to create a contrast with the tulips which works to make them stand out strongly in the image but at the same time I just find that background somewhat distractive.

Oh, Pat, you have such a true artist's eye. Love how you've composed this with the white background providing a perfect springboard for these finely etched tulips. A work of art.

It is a lovely capture----good detail in the blooms and good composition---however, I am not sure if the white background is a little too harsh----a great excuse for someone to buy you more tulips and do it again----every week maybe!!!! Lynne
