These are the lime stone pavements at the top of Ingelton with Ingelbourgh in the background which is part of the Yorkshire Dales three peak challange which my freinds and I walked last year. I probably would have guessed nearly anywhere else but the UK. I like the combination of elements (the cloud, the tree and the lime stone pavements), the sense of texturing that comes through loud and clear from the lime stone pavements (one almost feels as if they could reach into the image and feel the roughened nature of the lime stone) and the lighting which serves to enhance the roughened nature of those stones). marhowie Registered: August 2009 Posts: 1,392 Wed May 26, 2010 2:19am Very nice! Composition, exposure and colour are all spot-on. All of the elements work well together and there's a great juxtaposition here between the hard rock, organic nature of the tree and ethereal nature of the cloud. Composition with the tree, and the good coloured sky makes this a very well captured picture.
