I did a photography workshop on Saturday in Ingelton, Yorkshire Dales. These are the lime stone pavements at the top of Ingelton with Ingelbourgh in the background which is part of the Yorkshire Dales three peak challange which my freinds and I walked last year.
Cheers Paula

If you just posted this image without any comments as to location I would have never guessed that this was taken in the United Kingdom... I probably would have guessed nearly anywhere else but the UK.

I like the combination of elements (the cloud, the tree and the lime stone pavements), the sense of texturing that comes through loud and clear from the lime stone pavements (one almost feels as if they could reach into the image and feel the roughened nature of the lime stone) and the lighting which serves to enhance the roughened nature of those stones).

Very nice! Large view looks excellent, I wouldn't change a thing..
Except for the small sensor spot I see, just left of the large cloud right Wink

Really good work Paula.
Composition, exposure and colour are all spot-on.
I love the limestone country and the miniature environments to be found amongst the limestone pavements.

Simple but classic looking composition. All of the elements work well together and there's a great juxtaposition here between the hard rock, organic nature of the tree and ethereal nature of the cloud. Great stuff

Paula, this is very beautiful. Nice job. You ask how the little ducks made out against the heron. Not too good, he got all of them. Have a great day, Bill

Very apart looking Landscape, Paula.
Composition with the tree, and the good coloured sky makes this a very well captured picture.

Such an unusual capture with the stark difference between the landscape and the determination of that tough little tree to survive in such harsh conditions. Wonderful juxtaposition!!!!

What an interesting landscape Paula, limestone cliffs and caves I have seen but never something like this. An excellent POV and good texture,
David
