By comparison to the ratings quarters shown in my last post This is the Officers mess for HMS Cavalier's 8 officers. They had single cabins for senior officers and double for the juniors. They also had a comfortable wardroom for leisure adjoining the Mess. Even the light levels were much higher here so whereas in the ratings mess I used ISO 3200, the officers mess and wardroom (next post) allowed ISO 200.

If one was to be the navy it was good to be an officer.


Really surprising the difference in ISO values between the officer's mess and the men's quarters. One must have felt like they were living in a cave.
