The ship's office on HMS Cavalier.
On the desk a newspaper which dates from the ship's commissioning. The headlines tell of President Roosevelt's death. The 1972 calendar dates from Cavalier's withdrawal from service.
HMS Cavalier the only British WWII destroyer still in British hands is one of only 2 privately owned ex RN ships allowed to continue flying the White Ensign. The other is the WWII Cruiser HMS Belfast, moored in the pool of London opposite the Tower of London.

The typewriter and the dial phone really puts a date to the ship's office on the HMS Cavalier. Vic you have provided us with an interesting photo trip through the HMS Cavalier.
