Took this at an annual county show on Anglesey. I just love horses and this ones head to me was particularly pleasing. The rider seems to be wondering what the horse is thinking. I think it`s thinking .....Give me an inch and I`ll be off!...

If the nose was a bit bigger she would look like prince Charles wife Camilla - the one with the hat I mean. Smile
The horse has a good "hunter's head", a very handsome looking beast and well captured Charlie.

The turn of the horse's head the and the look on the rider creates a sense of flow between the two... one can almost imagine years of riding together and they have evolved a silent language that only they can understand.

I agree with janper44 the horse's turned head allows me to center the rider

I like the head turn by the horse here, with the riders eyes focused there..
Colors, exposure, and details look great Smile

Superb capture of the horse Charlie. I came from a farming family and at this time of the year we would tour the various agricultural shows in the south west of Western Australia to watch an Aunt ride hunters and hacks, nice job,
Dave
