I agree with Mick re the small crop and I also agree that this is an superb image. The focus and depth of field is perfect and the amount of sepia just right to add richness to the tones and set the image in period.
The enthusiasm of the re-enactors in staying true to fact and their willingness to be photographed means we'll have food for our cameras for a long time.

Sepia toning lends itself well to photographing the Civil War Re-enactments... one immediately feels as if they have stepped back in time and that rather than viewing a picture that might have been taken earlier in the day there is the distinct feeling that one is in the 1860s of the American Civil War.
