The coloring of the flower creates a contrast with the surrounding greenery which helps to make the flower stand out quite strongly in the picture.


I thought at first when opening the picture that the flower was floating on water but I guess that is just an illusion created by the greenery surrounding the flower.


Any idea what the name of this plant might be?

Luscious details with gorgeous supporting saturation. But it's the most unusual perspective that grabs me and won't let go.

Beautiful Pic. of this flower Anne. lovely colours and a muted green background. Shame about the right hand side cutting off the petal, that`s one of my tricks as a beginner! Hope to see a lot more from you. Take care.....Charlie.
