Something recognizable as mine for my first image in this new place, I promise not to bore anyone with images I have shown elsewhere, this one taken on Anzac Day, 25th April 2008 and a morning of heavy fog.

I will be heading off to Western Australia on the 4th December and I still have some processing to do from a set of photos taken in Queensland last week so I may be stretched for time until after I return from WA.

Hello there

What a delightful image you have chosen for your first post. Wonderful natural framing with the trees draped accross the image one the right, a nice tranquil feel to the shot with superb detail and the mist just draws you in too see more. Lovely work here and the PP framing compliments the shot perfectly. It reminds me of an oil painting Smile

kind regards Helen

Hi David,

Why do you think you could bore anyone with Tamar-pictures; I would suggest you do pick some of the most spectacular pictures you have already shared elsewhere, because you otherwise you withhold people new to these pictures the beauty of them.
The light is wonderful here, if the yachts would not be so modern, it would look like an old Dutch master painting.
Isn't it amazing when you click on the picture that it totally fills your screen?
Wish you a safe journey and an enjoyable time,

My thanks to all. As mentioned before I may be a bit pushed for time before I fly to Western Australia but I will try my best.
