The muted nature of the colors (varying shades of brown and blue), the sense of flow that is created by your adopted viewpoint which works to lead the eyes of the viewer from the bottom edge to the top of the picture and the sense of tranquility that is created by the setting all work hand in hand to create a pleasing shorescape.
