Another from my short series related to the beach.
Taken just behind the shingle beach where I captured the shot of the blokes with long lenses. The owners of this small tea stall were clearing away and finishing up as the remaining stragglers left the beach ...us....
I think it had been a hard day and they were completely oblivious to me taking shots of this small section of beach life.

slight increase in saturation to deepen the blue.

An interesting image reflecting the end of the working day for these people providing food and drink to the visitors at the beach.

Well I see they put out a dish of water for dogs. I expect your family kept them busy earlier. It seems as if our summer finished early doesn't it.
BTW, if you're interested there is the Military Odyssey taking place over the BH W/E at the Kent showground, Detling near Maidstone.

I'm going on the Saturday if the weather is reasonable. I've not been before but a friend enjoys it so much she camps there for 3 days and buys a 3 day ticket. Battle re-enactments and period displays from Anglo Saxon onwards and also foreign re-enactments.

This to me is a typical English holiday shot, if I saw this in a mag I would say instantly "England" an old caravan selling food and drink ... just as they did when I was a kid and when my kids were small and now my grand kids Smile
These shots are our heritage .. well seen

Do you think that one day they will introduce the ability to capture smell to digital cameras---the tang of fish and chips and malt vinegar is wafting straight across the ocean to me-----Lynne
