I'm not sure why you used the brush strokes but I can see the metaphor fits.

I don't care for false dichotomies myself, finding life more complex than the either/or choices we most often seem to want reduce issues to. That said, I do like the image, though my personal taste would be for a non-paintbrush version.

Hi Jan,
I like the image and the applicability to the metaphor, not so sure about the brush strokes though, seems that the unaltered image would have worked as well and been even more impressive.

You are so right, our lives are all about choices but who knows what lies in what direction. I like the addition of the brush strokes adds a sense of mystery of sorts to the shot for some reason. Maybe because it makes the photo, like the choices, not quite so clear.
