The darkened nature of the stone cross stands out strongly set against the misty background slopes. There is a textural component to the picture which might be heightened if the image had been slightly lighter.

As so often happens, miserable weather for regular folks makes for striking images for photographers. I really like the mist. the low light is even, making for a relatively simple exposure without shadows. It does look like you got your trousers wet, kneeling down for a low POV. Nicely done.
