I like the blue water at the bottom and the blue sky at the top with the slice of landscape between them... a sandwich of visually pleasing elements.
The slight reflective quality of the water, the varying shades of green of the foliage, and several leading lines (the far shore of the stream and the distant ridge line carrying the eyes of the viewer through various areas of the picture) work well together to create a pleasing image.

HI Ray
Another great summery image. I love the natural greens and deep blue and the composition is very pleasing.
Is this the image you mailed me about being slightly over-sharp?
If so then it is just a little overdone but this is more to do with the nature of leaves and grasses which are difficult to sharpen correctly without leaving (say) the mountains a tad soft. Here's something I found out by experiment and now use regularly on leafy scenes which you might like to try.
Before sharpening, run a weak NR treatment over the image. It seems to soften the edges of leaves and grass enough that when sharpening the image crisp but without "edginess". Worth a try anyway.
Vic.
