Author Thread   Biscuits Registered: August 2009 Posts: 427 Wed September 1, 2010 12:09am Gorgeous painterly feel to this, what a cutie janper44 Registered: December 2009 Posts: 7,078 Sat September 4, 2010 12:16am A pleasing painterly feel to the composition... an unusual sensation for me is that the larger the image becomes the less the sense of a painterly quality to the image of Nia. I think that the upper right hand corner needed some more lighting to bring out detailing in the left side of the young girl's face... the darkened area in the upper right takes away from the expressive nature of the child's face which is rather appealing and evokes a sense of innocence.
