The little hand of the new born child evokes a sense of innocence and vulnerability. The light highlighting the hand and arm helps to enhance the image for me.

I assume this is your new grandchild - congratulations to the parents and yourselves and best wishes for a great future for the sprog.
Good exposure and tones. I wonder if the next time (I'm sure you'll take every chance you can), you could position a small piece of paper on the left to act as a reflector. The exposure is fine but there is a shadow which by bad luck hits just on the crease of the wrist and exaggerates the change in tone. It is not something I would have noticed when taking it.
A very nice picture Steve.
