I like the perspective you adopted in this picture with the sense of flow created by the arc of foliage serving to lead the eyes of the viewer through the image, the varied shades of greenery (evokes a sense of freshness in my mind as I view the picture) and the reflective quality of the water which helps along with the arc of the foliage to draw the upper and lower areas of the picture together.

Thank you Jan - your photographers eye seems to match mine. The foliage and vegetation is very lush and green here this year.

It is pretty, that's for sure, and well captured as well. I do find myself wondering though whether, if you rotated a bit more to your right, got down a bit lower in POV, it might even be better since the "swirl" would draw the eye even more into the reflective water, and the lower POV( tilted slightly up) would not artificially cut off the far shore tree tops--it seems from the reflection that there's no other distractions, just sky on top of the trees.
Thanks,
Wilt

Rezzer! Rezzer! Good God man - you're not a scouser are you?
I like this for all the reasons you took it. The myriad shades of green and mixture of wild plant shapes and colours can be so calming. I reckon there are at least 2 dozen plant species in the short length of near bank in view.
Our green and pleasant land personified.
Looks great for fishing too.
Vic.
